The TeX Gyre Bonum family of serif fonts is based on the URW Bookman L family distributed with Ghostscript. The original font was designed by Alexander Phemister in 1860 and named Bookman (or Bookman Old Style). The constituent 4 standard faces contain nearly 1250 glyphs each.

Version 2008: 1.103.
All versions of TeX Gyre fonts after 2009 year doesn’t include Cyrillic glyphs because GUST e-foundry was not able to receive a license permission from Valek Filippov for his Cyrillic glyphs. For the latest versions of TeX Gyre fonts without Cyrillic glyphs see on GUST e-foundry website .
